The Panama City Beach Area
You are only a short drive to some of the best attractions Panama City Beach has to offer, but far enough away from the crowds and congestion.
In the immediate area you’ll find Thomas’ Donuts (2 miles away, tops) and the Carousel Market (even closer). Thomas’ makes the best donuts you’ve ever had and you’ll HAVE to have them over and over again. Very close to Thomas’ you’ll find and visit (over and over) the Carousel Market. It’s a handy place for quick groceries, beer and wine. They carry nice, fresh produce and good meat choices too!
A little bit down the road (but not by much) you have access to Winn Dixie grocery, Publix, CVS, and – my personal favorite — Buddy’s Seafood, which has the freshest local fish around at a reasonable price, and in a clean environment too! Buy your fish to cook at home, or have them steam your shrimp for your day at the beach. And, don’t forget their homemade Key Lime Pie for dessert – yummy!
A little further beyond is Pier Park, with mega movie theaters, several restaurants including Jimmy Buffet’s ‘Margaritaville’ and shopping galore. Close by is a fun local’s restaurant called “Dusty’s” Fresh Oyster Bar, and they have the BEST oysters anywhere. Raw or cooked, they shuck them right in front of you! It doesn’t get much fresher than that… All this shopping, good food, nightlife and more is just five miles away. Everything you need, or could imagine needing, is there including big box stores like Target and Walmart, and many chain restaurants too.
The City Pier is also right there for the fisherman in you. The popular Frank Brown Park is located across from Pier Park with ball fields and a outdoor public pool. Golf courses, antiquing, boating, kayaking, water skiing, etc. are all within easy reach.
There is so much to do, so little time! Bella by the Beach in Panama City Beach, Florida is THE vacation spot for just about anything you want to do…
